Giving Back: WIT Scholarship Program

PDF Print E-mail

Weyburn Inland Terminal Ltd. awards scholarships annually to 21 High Schools in its core trading area.  Each scholarship has a value of $400.00, and one is awarded for every multiple of 50 students in the graduation class.  In 2009 WIT awarded 23 scholarships.  To be considered, students must attend any University, College or Technical School within18 months of graduation.   Preference is given to agricultural related studies, however other applicants are considered.  Each school’s selection committee reviews all applications and makes the winning candidate selection.  Weyburn Inland Terminal Ltd., through its scholarship program, is proud to assist students in the communities we serve to further their education.

At Weyburn Inland Terminal you can expect constant improvement. The staff from top to bottom is just excellent; they know who you are either on the phone or in person. This year they have made improvements to increase the speed of grain unloading; improving a system that is already the best in the industry. Six days a week, 13 hours a day, you can count on having great staff and great facilities.
